The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is an internationally recognized program of study designed to prepare students for higher education and the global world. It is an academically challenging and balanced program of education designed to equip students with the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills necessary for success in an ever-changing world. 

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme courses consist of six academic courses, a core curriculum, and a creative, action, and service (CAS) requirement. The core curriculum consists of three components: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (EE) and Creativity, Action, Service (CAS). The six academic courses can be chosen from the language and literature, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics, and the arts. These courses are designed to provide a comprehensive and balanced education.

The Theory of Knowledge course is designed to encourage students to think critically and reflect on the knowledge they have acquired and how it affects their lives. The Extended Essay allows students to explore a topic of their choice in depth, and it serves as an opportunity to develop independent research skills. The Creativity, Action, Service requirement encourages students to explore their own interests and to develop a sense of personal responsibility and commitment to their own development and the development of their communities.
